Been reading online about ROTF and how much it sucks according to the critics. This has convinced me not to see the most awsome and anticipated movie of the year. And after I annhilated that reality, gonna go see it after work today.

IT'S GONNA ROCK!

خرداد، Basij shots to death a young woman in Tehran's Saturday June 20th protests

At 19:05 June 20th
Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.

A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim's chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.
The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.
The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me.
Please let the world know.

Spread this...

Ironbite-hell of a ride and I so enjoy being right!

Or at least what I remember of it.

So this week, if ya'll hadn't noticed, I hadn't been around much. If at all. That's cause I was on vacation. So, the events as is follows.

Monday: Me and Joy got on the earliest morning flight we could to get to Chicago and try to get to Portland. We met up with a buddy of ours who was coming us at the gate. We didn't get on the first flight. Nor did we get on the second and third flight. Oh I love spring break don't you? So, we're getting desperate here and I go online and check other flights. There, sitting in solitary green glory(green means good btw), was a flight going to San Francisco that would've at least gotton us out of the state of IL. So we go to the gate and there, sitting in all her wide body glory, is a 777 airplane. And I had listed us all for buisness class. We got first. And oh what a glorious ride it was. I set my seat down into bed mode and slept most of the way. So we get to SFO, wait bout an hour for the flight to Portland, get on it, arrive just in time to wait 3 more hours for the rental car company to open up so we could get our car.

Tuesday: Our drive to Coos Bay that nearly killed us all. Very very little sleep and we faced a 5 hour drive. That was fun. We get to Coos Bay finally, Izzy goes to stay with Shelly, my fiance's friend who lives in the area, and me and Joy checked into a hotel. A very very basic hotel. To it's credit, we did manage to get a room with internet access but that was bout it. Very basic motel. We didn't stay in it much. We mostly bummed around town till it was bout time to see the Watchmen. Did see it and when my brain actually works I'll tell you what I liked and hated bout the movie.

Wednsday: Bum around Shelly's house with her 4 boston terriers who were the lickiest types of dogs ever. I do mean that. Only reason we hung around there is cause Shelly was getting her computer fixed. And we had a homemade meal rather then grabbing something from like a resturant or something. Twas good.

Thursday: Went down the coast to a place called Crescent City California. Went there to check out this aquarium mostly but on the way there took a 15 minute break at a walk through dinosaur trail that was kinda awsome. Got down to Crescent city, had lunch, and petted a leopard shark. Very slimy and cold. I loved it. On the way back we saw some awsome waves on the coast. Had KFC for dinner and that was that.

Friday: Went to a place called Bandon. Its major draw you ask? Animal safari you can walk through. A ton, I do mean this, a ton of goats, deer, sheep, peacocks, and alpacks ran around loose in the park with the more dangerous animals, and animals that just don't belong round people without fences, behind said fences. It was fun, it was exciting, and we had Papa Murphy pizza for dinner.

So that's my vacation. I'm currently sitting at home right now, posting this and waiting for the rents to get home so I can show them what I got them. So, until next time player...

SAME IRONBITE TIME, SAME IRONBITE CHANNEL! IRONBITE.....................OUT!

Yeah yeah. I know. this is getting old but bear with me. Nothing really interesting happens in my life.

So this weekend, I'm on vacation. What am I doing on said vacation? Flying out to Springfeild to be with my lady love, Joy, then on Monday, me, Joy, and a buddy of ours are all set to fly out to Portland Oregon so we can then do a 5 hour drive down to Coos Bay Oregon. IT'S GONNA BE FUN ON NO SLEEP!

Ahh well. I've done this before and I'll do it again. Should be a fun vacation. Guess I'll just enjoy it.

thank you.

I have to say, both stories were where its at. So here's my reviews.

Hulk vs. Wolverine

They took everything that was great about the original Hulk vs. Wolverine story, then crank it up to 11. Then add Omega Red, Sabertooth, Lady Deathstrike, and the Patron Saint of Mayhem, and you've got one of the best stories I've ever seen. It got better in that the fight never really got a finish though we know that Hulk manages to get away...after crushing Deadpool. Poor Wade. The thing I was psyched to see is the blood. Yes, morbid but it's been something I've been wanting to see Wolvie do in an animated format for...years. For once, we actually got to see those claws of his in all their glory. Dismembering uppity lab techs, slicing guys hands off, dismebering guards, cutting into Hulk it was great. We actually get to see those things doing what they do best. And then there was Weapon X. Deadpool...spot on though I'm not sold on the voice. Think it could've been a bit...raspier. Sabertooth, again dead on. But needed more growl. Omega Red...he's Russian so that's a surprise. Lady Deathstrike...........has issues. Major....hugging issues. Don't believe me? Watch the scene where she's stabbing Logan over and over again. You can practially see what's going on under that costume she wears. All and all Hulk vs. Wolverine delievers every single thing the original comic story did(minus a surprise apperence by a Wendigo) and added more. A 5...outta 5.

Hulk vs. Thor

Take everything that Thor is, the over the topness, the tendency to solve everything with a well timed hammer throw, throw in Loki possessing the Hulk for the first....quarter of the movie and you've got it down pat. We have everything from the Thor mythos in this one folks. Odinsleep, Warriors Three, Enchantress, Sif, and even some Valkyrie action towards the end. This had it all. It perfectly, even more so then in Hulk vs. Wolverine with Deadpool, captured the spirit of the Thor mythos. It perfectly blends just about what you'd expect with Thor. I cannot get over how over the top Thor really was until it came time to bash some Hulk skull. And that backfired. Hardkore. In fact...nobody could really beat a Hulk unchained which I guess was kinda the point. Hulk without Banner is kinda....mindless destruction. Though it doesn't seem like he wants to kill anybody. Just beat the jive outta them.

All in all, very enjoyable and I'm begging Marvel to do more stuff like this. More Hulk vs. cause I'm sure we can get something more outta this.

Ironbite-Hulk vs. Deadpool or just a Deadpool animated series would be nice.

Obama's Speech beneath the cut
ironbite: (Sweetness)
Well, today is the day that America gets its dignity back. Today is the day that we catch up with Hollywood in terms of presidency. Today is the day that we as Americans finally shake off this miasma of apathy and fear and begin to feel hope and light again. Today...is the day.

Now I'm not saying that we're going to magically fix all of our problems with this historic election of a black president. Far from it. But I do believe that this is a step in the right direction. This is a step that we must take to turn around the dire future this country has found itself in. A time of hope, a time of change, a time that we can see the light beyond the darkness. We must take that step so we can bring this great nation, a nation that until 8 years ago I have felt was the greatest in the world, back into the spotlight, be the shining example the world must look up to in order to ensure a brighter future for the next generation. I don't want to live in a world where the Bushes and the Chenies and the Roves rule. I want to live in a world where change is the buzz-word of the century. And you know something? I believe in Barack Obama. I believe that he is the man who will bring us out of the darkness and into the light. Or at least set us on that path.

So until he screws up as badly as Bush has done, Barack Hussain Obama...you have a blank check. Fill it in as you will. But know that you will have the eyes of the world upon you. I can only hope you have the shoulders for it.

Ironbite...Out.

FOR LO! ON THIS DAY 25 YEARS AGO, THE DARK LORDS OF THE UNIVERSE TREMBLED IN THEIR THRONES AS A BEING MORE EVIL THEN THEY WAS SPAWNED UPON THIS WORLD! AND YAY DID THEY TREMBLE, FOR THEY KNEW, IN THEIR BLACKEST HEARTS, THIS BEING SHALL ONE DAY DESTORY THEM....AMEN.

In case you don't know...25 years ago, I was born. I'm now a quarter century old. Here's looking to another year.

Folks, we haven't even gotton to Thanksgiving yet and I'm seeing Christmas commercials.

CAN WE WAIT UNTIL THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING!?
ironbite: (I'm PSYCHIC!)
Well folks.....this is where we start to see change. This is where we start to see the reputation of America gets repaired. This is where we see that anyone, regardless of the color of his skin, his "religion" or even his "inexperiance" can approach the highest office in this land and achive it. We can see that a man who's organizational skills can cause a record turnout of voters. A man who ran a campain on honesty, integrity, hope, and truth. President-Elect Barrack Obama, you sir belong to a special interest group. You do. I have to agree with people who have said that. But they're wrong about what special interest group he belongs to. He belongs to the American People, the biggest special interest group in the nation. And that is who you anwser to. This is the American dream that I believe in. This is hope, this is change, this....IS AMERICA!

So I got engaged......to Joy.

YAY ME!

Bastard son of an edit:

I should probably tell you folks how I proposed.

So for awhile now I've been seeing these Edible Arrangments on Food Network like all the damn time. So I asked Joy if she would like an arrangment. She said yes, picked out one and said for me to get it. It had chocolate covered strawberries. So I'm like ok...and I order it to come today. This was the beginings of Plan B. Plan A would have me get some custom messaged MnMs with the phrase Will U Marry Me? on them. That fell through when I found out that they would be delievered on the 10th and I'd only be here till the 9th...that was nixed. So I went to plan B. Which involved me taking a chocolate covered strawberry compleatly out of the arrangment and putting the ring on the stem peice and handing it to her.

Neato huh?
